International Migration of Health Workforce in Pakistan

Gathered feedback from key stakeholders and outlined strategies for minimizing the issues related to migrant health workers and on making the process of migration sustainable/beneficial for all stake holders including countries of Origin, countries of Destination and most importantly for migrant healthcare personnel. Assessed measures for minimizing the negative impacts of International Migration of Health Personnel. Compiled recommendations and evaluated various institutions for the role of a National Authority to serve as a focal point to monitor the implementation of WHO Global Code of Practice. Devised project implementation plan to implement the Global Code.
