Missing Links

Locally we experience missing links and weak coordination amongst sectors, departments, development partners and donors resulting in duplication of efforts and paucity of resources. This has been one of the major reasons behind the slow progress towards the achievement of the national health goals.

Devolution has brought in a major disconnect with limited efforts by the provinces towards resource sharing, information exchange, and joint work to accomplish shared visions. The potential benefits of collaboration i.e. better utilization of scare resources, cost-savings, and improved and integrated outcomes are yet to be realized.
