Dr Shabnum Sarfraz is an internationally recognized expert in health systems with 15+ years’ experience of leading NGOs, think tanks and government programs. Currently Member Social Sector & Devolution in the Planning Commission, leading the portfolio of social development, including health, education, manpower planning and SDGs. She is also one of the four Harvard LEAD Fellows of the inaugural cohort.
Dr Sai Subhasree is the founding president of SAATHII (Solidarity and Action Against the HIV Infection in India), a non-profit working towards universal access to healthcare, justice, and social welfare for marginalized communities across 36 states in India. She is also one of the four Harvard LEAD Fellows of the inaugural cohort.
Maureen Luba is Africa region advocacy advisor for the AIDS Vaccine Advocacy Coalition (AVAC) and an award-winning advocate based in Malawi. A rising force in community work around HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention, Luba also founded a mentorship program for girls focused on education and sexual and reproductive health. She is also one of the four Harvard LEAD Fellows of the inaugural cohort.
Stela Bivol is the director of the Center for Health Policy and Studies (PAS Center), a non-profit focused on disease response and health systems strengthening in Eastern Europe. She has led region-wide efforts to improve the TB response, contributing to health reforms in countries such as Belarus and Kazakhstan. She is also one of the four Harvard LEAD Fellows of the inaugural cohort.
