Conducted a detailed situation analysis of doctors, dentists, nurses, midwives and Lady Health Workers to establish a baseline of indicators and values for future interventions; Identified key challenges facing different health cadres; Reviewed and analyzed the recruitment, performance evaluation and promotion systems, and HRH policies and regulations; Investigated the institutional capacity of pre-service and in-service training programs in place. Identified strategies for improving nursing workforce planning and management over the short, medium, and long term.
