Evidence-Informed Health Policy Development

P2i technical lead experts developed the skeleton of the policy framework in alignment with the WHO’s six building blocks of the health system. It was contextualized to the specifics of Punjab, keeping in view the priority health needs of the people of Punjab and the unique challenges that it faces. Through a highly interactive and consultative process, the framework was populated engaging experts, policy makers and senior program managers in a series of policy roundtables conducted around each policy lever. This allowed for consensus building around key policy recommendations.
