High-Level Policy Forum on Sexual and Reproductive Health

Women in Global Health Pakistan in collaboration with Population Services International Pakistan hosted a High- Level Policy Forum on “Challenges Confronted by Healthcare Workers in Delivering Sexual & Reproductive Health Services & Recommended Policy Initiatives” on Thursday, 18th January, 2024. The forum was attended by professors in gynecology and obstetrics, including Prof Dr Shamsa Humayun, Prof Dr Nazli Hameed, Prof Dr Tayyiba Wasim, Prof Dr Kiren Khurshid Malik, Prof Dr Amna Zia Eusaph, Prof Dr Meher-Un-Nisa, Prof Dr Shamila Ijaz Munir and Prof Dr Faiqa Saleem Baig, senior public health professionals, including Prof Dr Saira Afzal, Prof Dr Ayesha Humayun, Prof Dr Zarfishan Tahir and Prof Dr Iram Manzoor, leading specialists in the field of medicine, surgery and allied, nursing professionals and representatives from the Population Welfare Department and HANDS.

After opening remarks from Women in Global Health Pakistan and PSI, the session proceeded as follows:

• Policy Deliberation and Recommendations: Addressing barriers confronted by Female Health Professionals for Enhancing SRH Service Delivery
