Senior Associate – Monitoring & Evaluation
P2impact is supporting development partners, provincial and federal governments in a number of critical assignments and is looking for a seasoned M&E professional to facilitate in executing the M&E components of these technical assignments. The Senior Associate will design, implement and oversee support of the development an M&E framework for various projects and programs supported by P2i.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution
- Master’s degree will be preferred
- Demonstrated experience of 5 or more years in monitoring and evaluation
- A strong quantitative background will be preferred
- Strong conceptual knowledge and proficiency in use of various M&E frameworks including ToC, DAC, CLA, LFA, DQA, gender integration in M&E etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
- High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
What You’ll Do
As Senior Associate – Monitoring & Evaluation, you will be:
- Supporting P2i’s work in its ongoing and upcoming activities, projects and specialty focus through dedicated M&E support
- Assisting with the collection, analysis, and reporting on performance indicators by other team members and activity counterparts
- Analyzing monitoring data to derive lessons for improvement
- Developing M&E toolkits for various projects and schemes in consultation with project teams
- Reviewing and synthesizing information about programs/ projects to identify operational priorities
- Developing and updating projects activity MEL plans, including development of indicators, baseline data, milestones, assumptions and DQA guidance
- Assisting with development of technical content
- Assisting in policy research activities on assigned priority agendas
- Conducting desk reviews of international and national policy and strategy documents to identify internationally acceptable standards and best practices
- Supporting the technical team in developing meaningful analysis and interpretation of data and information captured through performance monitoring reports.
- Summarizing findings and prepare relevant reports and briefs
- Developing information briefs and data sets for reports and presentations
- Providing M&E technical and trouble-shooting assistance
