Associate – Gender Portfolio

P2impact is the founding secretariat for Women in Global Health Pakistan Chapter. At P2impact, we are looking for an upcoming/aspiring research, policy and development sector professional to look after our gender portfolio and support P2i in its works for WGH Pakistan.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution
  • Experience of 2 or more years in development sector, preferably with gender
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis 
  • Interest in social media communication and active presence on social media preferred (Twitter, Linkedin etc.)
  • Interest/ experience in organizing online events preferred

What You’ll Do

As Associate for Gender Portfolio, you will be:

  • Supporting P2i’s work in its ongoing and upcoming activities, projects and specialty focus
  • Supporting the planning of internal meetings and events
  • Facilitating the lead teams and moderators in consultative dialogues by coordination, collation of information according to the pre-defined thematic frameworks
  • Working with operations team to coordinate project reporting
  • Creating and maintaining internal systems to collaborate and share knowledge;
  • Assisting with development of technical content
  • Assisting in policy research activities on assigned priority agendas
  • Conducting desk reviews of international and national policy and strategy documents to identify internationally acceptable standards and best practices
  • Supporting the technical team in developing meaningful analysis and interpretation of data and information captured through various reports.
  • Summarizing findings and prepare relevant reports and briefs
  • Developing information briefs and data sets for reports and presentations
